16 March 2023 - Revival - THEN I will hear, forgive and heal

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

2 Chronicles 6:21 (NLT) May you hear the humble and earnest requests from me and your people Israel when we pray toward this place. Yes, hear us from heaven where you live, and when you hear, forgive.

2 Chronicles 6:23 (MSG) Listen from heaven and act; judge your servants, making the offender pay for the offense and set the offended free, dismissing all charges.

2 Chronicles 6:25 (TLB) then listen to them from heaven and forgive their sins and give them back this land you gave to their fathers.

2 Chronicles 6:29-30 (TLB) listen to every individual’s prayer concerning his private sorrow, as well as all the public prayers. Hear from heaven where you live and forgive, and give each one whatever he deserves, for you know the hearts of all mankind.

2 Chronicles 6:33 (TLB) hear them from heaven where you live, and do what they request of you. Then all the peoples of the earth will hear of your fame and will reverence you, just as your people Israel do; and they too will know that this Temple I have built is truly yours.

2 Chronicles 6:39 (TLB) then hear from heaven where you live and help them, and forgive your people who have sinned against you.

Nearly every religion in the world is based on the idea that forgiveness must be earned. The one exception is Christianity.

1 John 1:9-10 (NIV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Psalm 103:12 (NIV) as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV) who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Healing our land starts with God healing our hearts.

Psalm 103:3 (ESV) who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases,

The words heal and healing means to make solid or whole. In the Bible it means the restoration of health, the making whole or well whether physically, mentally or spiritually.

Hosea 6:1 (NIV) “Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.
