14 July Psalm 75

But the horns of the righteous will be lifted up

Psalm 75:10(AMP) All the horns of the wicked He will cut off, But the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.

The horns of an animal are a sign of strength. They are great weapons used for fighting off predators, defending offspring, or competing for territory, supremacy, or mates.

Horns represent strength, power, and victory in battle. In the Bible, horn symbolizes power, glory, strength, royal authority, enabling power, honour, dignity, and dominion. To have one’s horn exalted denotes prosperity, triumph, and victory. The horn is the spiritual representation of glory. This concept is echoed in the following Psalms: Psalm 18:2(AMP) The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me; My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower—my stronghold. Psalm 148:14(AMP) He has lifted up a horn for His people , Praise for all His godly ones; For the people of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!).

God rewards those who fear Him, exalting them with strength and dignity, Psalm 92:10-12(AMP) But my horn You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil . My eye has looked on my foes; My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me. The righteous will flourish like the date palm ; They will grow like a cedar in Lebanon .

The horn of the righteous shall be exalted above that of his enemies. Psalm 75:10(NLT) reinforces this, stating: For God says, “I will break the strength of the wicked, but I will increase the power of the godly.”
