The power of the Kingdom of God
1 Corinthians 4:20(NKJV) For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.Words do matter, both to Paul and all Christians. But, in context, Paul’s point is that when God is truly present in our life’s, when we live under God’s sovereignty, we will experience God’s power.1 Corinthians 2:4-5(AMPC) And my language and my message were not set forth in persuasive (enticing and plausible) words of wisdom, but they were in demonstration of the Spirit and power , So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God.Romans 1:16(AMPC) For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. The Kingdom of God is in demonstration of power because it is the reign of God.Luke 17:20-21(NLT) One day the Pharisees asked Jesus, “When will the Kingdom of God come?” Jesus replied, “The Kingdom of God can’t be detected by visible signs. You won’t be able to say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you.”The power of God’s reign is demonstrated in the lives of those who submit to His authority. When we submit ourselves to God, we allow Him to reign in our hearts, demonstrating His power in our lives. His power can be seen in the way we live, the way we think, and the way we interact with others. When we submit to God’s reign, we can expect to see His power manifested in our lives in powerful ways. When we submit to God’s authority, read and meditate on His Word, and pray for the power of God to be active in our lives, we can see the power of God’s Kingdom at work in powerful ways.I conclude with, how to walk in the divine power of God.1. Faith - A Lifestyle of faith is the primary way of walking in divine power. We demonstrate the power of God in our lives as we walk in faith.2. The Word of God - We walk in divine power by reading, meditating and confessing God’s word by faith.3. Communion with the Holy Ghost - We walk in divine power as we give ourselves continually to communion with the Holy Ghost.
