*DAY 7 — Live Aware of His Indwelling Presence*

1 Corinthians 3:16 (NIV) “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?”

*Focus Thought: You carry His Presence everywhere you go.*

God’s presence is not only something that surrounds you—it is something that lives within you. Scripture reveals a profound and life-altering truth: you are God’s temple, and His Spirit dwells in you. This means that awareness is no longer about searching for God in certain places, moments, or activities. It is about recognising that He has chosen to make His home within you.

When this truth becomes real to us, everything begins to change. We realise that we do not step into God’s presence —we carry it. Every place we enter becomes sacred space because God is already there in us. Ordinary moments—working, speaking, listening, resting—are transformed when we remember who dwells within us. Awareness shifts our lives from routine to reverence.

Living aware of God’s indwelling presence shapes our inner world and our outward actions. Our words carry greater care because we remember that God hears them. Our responses slow down because we recognise that His Spirit is present in the moment. Our choices are guided by reverence, not pressure. Awareness gently trains us to live with integrity, humility, and love—not out of obligation, but out of relationship.

God’s indwelling presence brings deep comfort. We are never abandoned, never disconnected, and never empty. No matter how isolated or overwhelmed we may feel, His Spirit remains within us—faithful, constant, and near. At the same time, His presence invites responsibility. We are called to honour the God who lives in us, not only through worship gatherings, but through everyday living.

Wherever you go today—your workplace, your home, public spaces, quiet places—you carry His presence with you. God is not distant or external; He is intimately close, actively present, and personally involved in your life. As this week closes, allow this truth to settle deeply in your heart: you are God’s dwelling place. He is not merely with you—He is in you.

Action for Today: End the day by thanking God for dwelling in you—not just around you.

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, that Your Spirit lives in me. Help me to live today with reverence, awareness, and gratitude for Your indwelling presence. Amen.

Reflection Question: How did awareness of His indwelling presence shape your day?

Journal Prompt: Write about how carrying God’s presence influenced your thoughts, decisions, or interactions today.

WEEKLY DECLARATION

God is here. He is with me, for me, and in me. I am never alone. Every moment, every place, and every situation is filled with His presence. My awareness invites God’s nearness.

Weekly Outward Application

Go to a public place (a park, café, or mall). Sit quietly and become aware of God’s presence there.

Ask yourself: What is God drawing my attention to? What do I sense in my spirit? What might He be inviting me to pray or do?

Remain open, attentive, and receptive.

PRAYER OF COMMITMENT

Father, I offer myself to You anew. I commit to walk with You—not occasionally, but daily. I choose to hunger for Your presence, to pursue Your heart, to surrender my will,

and to obey Your voice.

Strengthen me to live these pillars each day: to pray, to worship, to listen, to love, to forgive, to serve, to trust, and to abide. May my life be a place where You are welcomed, where Your glory finds rest, and where Your Spirit works freely. I consecrate this year to You. Shape me, refine me, lead me, and transform me. Let every week and every day reveal more of Your beauty and draw me deeper into Your presence.

I choose to host Your presence today, tomorrow, and all the days of my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
