Romans 16:20(AMP) The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.The God of peace -What does the word peace mean? The Greek word eirēnē means a state of tranquility, calmness, and rest. It refers to a sense of inner peace, security and contentment, and an absence of conflict or disturbance. This meaning is reflected in many passages in the New Testament that speak of the peace of God, the peace of Christ, or the peace that comes from faith. Thus, peace comes from faith, knowing that God is in control. Philippians 4:7(ESV) And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.John 14:27(ESV) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. The term ‘peace’ also refers to a state of well-being, wholeness, and harmony that comes from having the right relationship with God and others.Romans 5:1(NLT) Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.Will soon crush Satan under your feet -Paul encourages us to persevere in faith, knowing that our ultimate enemy has been defeated. The imagery of Satan being crushed under our feet suggests a position of triumph and authority and underscores the power of Christ's victory over all spiritual forces of darkness.Colossians 2:15(ESV) He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. (Christ)1 John 3:8b(ESV) The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. One of the primary reasons for Jesus's coming to earth was to destroy the devil’s works. Jesus overcame sin, death, and Satan through His death and resurrection and paved the way for Believers to walk in victory over the enemy. The God of peace has crushed Satan under your feet. Today walk in the victory of Jesus.
