The Spirit of counsel

Isaiah 11:2 (NLT)” And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.”

Psalm 16:7 (NIV) “I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.”

The Spirit of counsel instructs you and guides you from within. That’s the Spirit by which the Lord guides your life. The Spirit instructs you and tells you what to do and what not to do. He directs you in all your affairs. Isaiah 9:6 (NIV) “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The name “Wonderful Counsellor” means “Extraordinary Strategist.” The Spirit of counsel is the Extraordinary Strategist. Let the Extraordinary Strategist function in you, and He’ll instruct you on the right steps to take in every day

Psalm 32:8 (NIV) I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”

Psalm 73:24 (NIV) “You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.”
