6 September Psalm 129

The blessing of the Lord be upon you; We bless you in the name of the Lord

Psalm 129:8b(AMP) “The blessing of the LORD be upon you; We bless you in the name of the LORD.”

What is the blessing of the Lord? It means that you are anointed to win and empowered to overcome. When the blessing of the Lord is upon your life, you are enriched.

Proverbs 10:22(AMP) The blessing of the LORD brings riches, And He adds no sorrow to it

We should speak the blessing of God over our lives. Numbers 6:23-26(AMP) “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them: The LORD bless you, and keep you ; The LORD make His face shine upon you , And be gracious to you ; The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you , And give you peace .

By speaking the blessing, we put God’s name upon the blessing. Numbers 6:27(AMP) So Aaron and his sons shall put My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”

That is why we say: “The blessing of the Lord be upon you; We bless you in the name of the Lord.”
