Did you accept the invitation to the wedding feast of the Lamb?

Revelation 19:6-9(NLT) Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd or the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loud thunder: “Praise the LORD! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.” For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people. And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” And he added, “These are true words that come from God.”

Throughout Scripture, the relationship between God and His people is often depicted in terms of a marital bond. This metaphor portrays an intimate, profound connection that Believers share with God, through Jesus.

Although God's invitation is open to everyone, not all choose to accept it. Sadly, many will decline. Yet, those who embrace Jesus, acknowledging Him as their Lord and Saviour, will be honoured guests at the heavenly marriage supper. John 1:29(AMP) declares: The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Jesus, symbolised as the sacrificial Lamb, triumphed over the world's sins. By giving Himself up at Calvary, He paved the way for us not only to receive forgiveness, but also to gain eternal life. Furthermore, this sacrifice grants Believers the privilege to partake in the Lamb's wedding, where Jesus is the groom, and His faithful followers are the bride.

Participation in the wedding of the Lamb is exclusive to those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Saviour. When you welcome Him into your heart, you not only receive salvation but also secure your place at this divine celebration. Accepting Jesus is synonymous with RSVPing to the grandest feast of all time.

Isaiah 55:1-2(NIV) "Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Ephesians 5:25b-27(NIV) …. Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

I conclude with Revelation 22:20b(NIV) Jesus says: “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. Get ready for that ultimate wedding and invite everyone you know. Praise in the church, is a practice for what is to come in heaven.
