30 April 2024 - Faith is the assurance

Hebrews 11:1(AMP) Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen .

Faith is the evidence of things not seen. Most of the time when you are praying, you are asking and believing for a certain outcome. Whatever you are asking for, faith is the evidence of it. You are not going to obtain anything without faith evidence.

The Bible says that faith is the evidence of ‘things not seen.’ Unbelief says, ‘Seeing is believing’ or ‘I will believe it when I see it.’

Faith is the assurance that the desired outcome is ours, even though we have never seen it.

No matter what you need, if you hold on to the title deed and have faith in God and His promise, it will surely come to pass. Faith, according to the Bible, is the ‘confidence, assurance, substance, and title-deed’ of things hoped for. Remember, this confidence and assurance are always built on the Truth of God’s Word.

Let us look at some evidence today, that will confirm that you are an overcomer. If you’ve asked God for something but haven’t seen the answer yet, don’t worry. If you have real faith, then it’s like having the title to it in your hands, with your name written on it. It is yours and you will see it eventually.

2 Chronicles 20:17(NASB95) You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the Lord is with you.

Exodus 14:14(NIV) says The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.

Proverbs 21:31(ESV) The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.

Stand on the promises of God today, the evidence that you are an overcomer.

I conclude with 2 Corinthians 1:19-22(MSG) Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In Him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God’s Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, putting his Yes within us.
