There comes a moment when we must quit talking to God about the mountain and start talking to the mountain about our God. We must proclaim His power. We declare His sovereignty. We affirm His faithfulness. We stand on His Word. We cling to His promises.
Matthew 17:20 “Say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move.”
Is now time to talk to this mountain. Tell this mountain to move.
Mark 11:23 "For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says"
In these verses the reference to mountains are our problems, struggles and circumstances. In faith we must speak to our mountains until they listen. We must keep on speaking to our mountains until they melt away.
Micah 1:4 “The mountains melt beneath him and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like water rushing down a slope.”
Jesus said in this world we will have tribulations (problems). So, when he told us to speak to the mountains, He gave us a way to overcome those tribulations.
Start acting like your situation changed. Stop speaking and dwelling on your problem. Remember, you already commanded your mountain to move so act like it already moved.
James 1:23-25 (ESV) “For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.”
I want to conclude with Isaiah 25:7 (AMP) “And on this mountain He will destroy the covering that is over all peoples, And the veil that is woven and spread over all the nations.”
Declare this verse over mountain. “Your mountain will be destroyed by the power of God.” We declare it, we proclaim it and we believe it.
It is time to stop your problem in its tracks. Take a decision today, enough is enough.
Let’s speak to our mountains.
