Stay humble

Psalm 25:9(NLT) He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way.

What an amazing thought, God leads the humble in doing right. Thus, if we humble ourselves, understanding that God is our Lord, we submit under His rulership, He will lead us in doing right and teach us. Thus, in humbling ourselves we are led by the Spirit of God.

1 Peter 5:6-7(NLT) says: So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Matthew 5:5(NLT) God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth.

James 4:10(NLT) Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.

Jesus even humbled Himself. Therefore, we should also have the mind of humility.

Philippians 2:5-11(NLT) You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
