25 February 2023 - He will pour out a blessing over us! This refers to prosperity

Malachi 3:10 (NKJV) open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.

Proverbs 11:25 (TPT) Those who live to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out his life to pour out blessings will be saturated with favor.

Ephesians 1:3 (NLT) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

There can be no doubt that God wants to bless His own. The Bible also makes it clear that He places certain conditions on those who want to see His blessings. God desires to see His people blessed.

What conditions did God affix to this great promise? The first one is obedience. The other condition is faith. The phrase ‘prove me now herewith’ is an invitation to trust God. He wants to show Himself strong in the lives of those who will trust Him and obey Him. These two attributes go together. When we obey Him, it is an exercise of our faith. God's Word is true, and it can be trusted. His Word testifies that He will ‘open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.’ God's blessings will be poured out as we trust and obey Him.

The windows of heaven represent an outflow of God’s blessings, showering you in every part of your life. It is God’s response to our obedience to His Word. Why would anyone want to close those windows in their life? That really wouldn’t make sense.

When you honour God with your giving, He will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings you cannot contain. You may have reached your limits on your own; there are obstacles you can’t seem to overcome; the good news is, you’re not on your own.

Acts 20:35 (NLT) And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Luke 6:38 (NLT) Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full - pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

Deuteronomy 8:17-18 (MSG) If you start thinking to yourselves, “I did all this. And all by myself. I’m rich. It’s all mine!”—well, think again. Remember that GOD, your God, gave you the strength to produce all this wealth to confirm the covenant that he promised to your ancestors—as it is today.

Givers gain! When you give to God, the only thing that can happen is you gain on every level. Beloved, He wants to prosper you in all things. Are you willing to trust Him with the little in your hand for the untold blessings in His?
