22 November ACTS 20

God will finish what He has started

Acts 20:24(MSG) What matters most to me is to finish what God started: the job the Master Jesus gave me of letting everyone I meet know all about this incredibly extravagant generosity of God.

Psalms 138:8(MSG) Finish what You started in me, GOD. Your love is eternal - don't quit on me now.

Philippians 1:6(AMP) I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus .

God always finishes what He starts, and that includes shaping your character. God has been moulding your character to be like His Son’s.

God finishes what He starts. Even if you don’t see it, God is still at work; that includes working in you and your life. You may feel like God has forgotten about you, as if He’s given up on you. Your life may be a mess, and things may look hopeless. You may think God is angry with you, but He’s not! God is for you.

God has begun a good work in you, and He’s not finished yet. Let Him complete what He’s started. Stay on the potter's wheel, trusting that God will finish what He has started in you. He will do it!

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24(NLT) Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful.

Hebrews 12:2(NLT) We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

Be encouraged, no matter how long it takes, don’t give up. God will complete what He started in your life. He paid the price for your freedom and your triumph over all obstacles. He won’t quit now, so neither should you.
