DAY 7 — Worship Prepares a Throne for God to Reign
Revelation 4:11 (NIV) “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
Focus Thought: Worship declares His worth and establishes His rule in your life.
Worship is never neutral. Whatever you worship rules you. Whatever you consistently give your attention, affection, and trust to will eventually shape your priorities, decisions, and direction. That is why worship is so powerful — it is a throne-setting act.
When we worship God, we are not only telling Him that He is worthy — we are also telling our own hearts who is in charge. We are consciously placing God back on the throne of our lives, above our fears, desires, ambitions, and plans.
In Revelation, worship in heaven is centered around God’s throne. All glory, honour, and power are directed toward Him because He is the source of everything. When we worship on earth, we align our lives with that same heavenly order.
Worship re-establishes God’s rightful authority in our hearts. It reminds our souls that we are not in control — and that is a good thing. When God reigns, peace increases, clarity returns, and life finds its proper order.
Worship is how you tell your soul again: God is King here.
Action for Today: End your day by declaring Revelation 4:11 out loud as an act of surrender and honour.
Reflection Question: What part of your heart came under God’s reign through worship today?
Prayer: Lord, You alone are worthy to receive glory, honour, and power. I place You back on the throne of my heart, my home, and my life. Reign in me today. Amen.
Journal Prompt: Where is God inviting me to surrender control to Him?
