In war there is no substitute for victory

God’s will for us is not that we merely survive, but that we thrive in total victory, and He has equipped us and has given us His power and authority over the enemy.

Romans 8:37 (NKJV) “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

” To conquer is to be victorious over an adversary. To be "more than a conqueror" means we not only achieve victory, but we are overwhelmingly victorious. To be more than conquerors means we face the trials of life with the certainty that we are not alone. We have a mighty Father who fights for us.

Revelation 21:7 (NKJV) “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.”

Psalm 23:4 (ESV) Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Exodus 14:14 (ESV) “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

Jeremiah 1:19 (ESV) “They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you, declares the Lord, to deliver you.”

Hebrews 2:14 (NLT) “Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.”

We already have the victory through Jesus Christ, so we do not battle for victory but from victory. The enemy will continue to come against us until we are no longer here on earth.

1 John 4:4 (NASB) “You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”

David said in Psalm 27:13, “I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”

Because God’s plan for you is so certain, you can face the most difficult circumstances, the most terrifying enemies, and the most devastating ordeals with confidence. You don’t merely survive your trials; you’re “more than a conqueror” because absolutely nothing will be able to separate you from God’s endless love in Christ.
