DAY 6 — Worship Turns Ordinary Moments into Holy Moments
Psalm 34:1 (NIV) “I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.”
Focus Thought: Worship is not an event; it is a lifestyle.
Many people think of worship as something that happens at a specific time and place — in a church service, during a song, or in a special moment. But David says, “I will extol the Lord at all times.” That means worship is not confined to moments; it is meant to fill our lives.
When praise becomes constant, life becomes sacred. Ordinary moments — driving, working, waiting, walking, cooking — are no longer just ordinary. They become opportunities to acknowledge God, include Him, and honour Him. A worshipful life means God is consciously present in everything we do.
This kind of worship keeps our hearts soft, our spirits aware, and our perspective aligned. It protects us from drifting into anxiety, frustration, or self-focus because it continually brings us back to God-centeredness.
Worship is not only something we do — it is a way we live. And when worship becomes a lifestyle, God’s presence becomes a constant companion, not an occasional visitor.
A worshipful life turns everyday moments into holy moments.
Action for Today: Whisper short praises throughout the day: “Thank You, Lord… I bless Your name…”
Reflection Question: Where did worship transform an ordinary moment today?
Prayer: Lord, let praise live on my lips and in my heart all day long. Teach me to include You in every moment and to honour You in everything I do. Amen.
Journal Prompt: Which moment today became holy because I worshipped?
