When I am surrounded by troubles

When I am surrounded by troubles, Psalm 138:7-8(NLT) offers profound comfort: Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me. The LORD will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.

How comforting and empowering it is to know that if we are passionately pursuing God’s purposes, He is equally committed to fulfilling His purposes in us. This assurance stands firm, no matter how dire our circumstances or how hostile people may be around us.

In 2 Chronicles 16:9(ESV) we find further affirmation: For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.” This verse emphasizes that God is actively looking to support those who are faithful.

Similarly, Psalm 138:8a(JB2000) assures us: The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; This is a powerful reminder that God has a perfect plan for each of our lives.

In Romans 8:28(NLT) we are told: And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. This verse reiterates that in all things, God works for our good.

Lastly, Psalms 18:6(AMP) reveals a personal cry for help and the assurance of God's attentive response: In my distress I called upon the LORD and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry for help came before Him, into His very ears.

In conclusion, these scriptures collectively affirm that in times of trouble, we are not abandoned. Instead, we are under the vigilant care of a loving God who not only hears our cries for help but also actively works to bring about the best in our lives, aligning our paths with His perfect plan. This knowledge offers profound peace and encouragement, reminding us of the unwavering presence and power of God in our lives.
