Revival is when God pours out His Spirit in a supernatural way among His people. What are the results of God pouring out His Spirit? What is the impact of revival? The manifestation of God’s awesome presence; the manifestation of God’s awesome power. Extraordinary response to the move of God during a revival; a supernatural outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon people.

How can we have revival?

To effectively prepare for revival, a believer must recognise God as the source of every true revival. Psalm 71:20(NLT) You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth.

Humble yourself and cry for help. 2 Chronicles 7:14(NLT) Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

Have a readiness of mind to return to God. Jeremiah 3:22(ESV) “Return, O faithless sons; I will heal your faithlessness.” “Behold, we come to you, for you are the LORD our God.”

Keep on praying. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18(TLB) Always keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

True and purposeful fasting is needed. Isaiah 58:6(NKJV) “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?”

“As long as we are content to live without revival, we will.” - Leonard Ravenhill

When revival comes, we won't be talking about revival, but about Jesus. We need revival, we need REVIVAL. Our lives need revival. Our homes need revival. Churches need revival. Christians throughout this community, and across this land need revival.
