Bless God and He will bless you
Psalm 134:1-3(AMP) Behold, bless and praise the Lord, all servants of the LORD (priests, Levites), Who stand and serve by night in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands to the sanctuary And bless the LORD. May the LORD bless you from Zion, He who made heaven and earth.
Our goal as Christians is to bless the Lord God and to be blessed by God. When we bless God, we kneel or bow down before Him in worship. When God blesses us, He reaches down to take care of us and our needs. We bless God by praising Him for who He is and what He has done, and God blesses us by loving us and providing for us. This is the essence of Psalm 134 – blessing God and being blessed by God.
Bless the Lord.
Psalm 103:1(AMP) Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
1 Peter 2:9(NIV) But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.
May the Lord bless you!
Numbers 6:24-26(NLT) ‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you His favor and give you His peace.’
The life that blesses God, is a life that is blessed by God.
I conclude with Matthew 21:9b(NKJV) “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ Hosanna in the highest!”
