The Bread taken, blessed, broken, and given
Mark 6:41(NKJV) And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all.At the Last Supper, almost identical wording: He took bread… He blessed it… He broke it. . . and He gave it. This has been His order throughout the ages!Matthew 26:26(ESV) Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David…and then Jesus Himself…God takes a man… then He blesses, breaks, and gives Him to the world for a special time, season, ministry and purpose. We will all go through these seasons. A time when God take you, then He blesses you, you are broken and then you are given. It is only in the broken places we begin to see Him work miracles in our lives. In the broken places, we can begin to perceive His hand in us.2 Corinthians 12:9(NKJV) And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Our weakness makes us depend on God and draws us close to Him. If you are not strong anymore because you cannot fight or your weakness is overwhelming you, just pray to God for His power to be manifested in your weakness.God simply wants us to surrender our inadequacy to Him so that He can fill us with His strength.God’s power is always made perfect in our weakness. Let Him fill you with His grace and strength. Our ability and strength come from the One who can do all things.Have a great day.
