Hebrews 11:6(NIV) And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
If you believe this, you will be at rest. Having faith means building your life on God’s Word; you conduct yourself according to God’s Word and reckon that God, who has said it, guides everything and is a reward.
Without a genuine conviction that God exists, it is impossible to have an intimate relationship with Him. In addition, it is essential we to believe “that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Psalm 10:4(AMP) The wicked, in the haughtiness of his face, will not seek nor inquire for Him; All his thoughts are, “There is no God .”
Psalm 14:1(NKJV) The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt; They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.
The Bible opens not with a proof of God’s existence, but with a pronouncement of God’s works: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. This foundational assertion of Scripture assumes that not only does the reader already know God exists, but also has a basic grasp of Who this God is. Throughout the Old Testament, belief in a creator God is treated as normal and natural for all human beings, even though the pagan nations have fallen into confusions about the identity of this God.
Deuteronomy 4:35(NKJV) To you it was shown, that you might know that the LORD Himself is God; there is none other besides Him.
Jeremiah 10:10(NLT) “But the Lord is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at his anger. The nations cannot stand up to his wrath.
Psalm 8:3-4(NKJV) When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?
There is no force, no reality outside of God. He is entirely self-sustaining, self-determining, and self-directing.
Your relationship with God is largely determined by your faith. When you come to Him, you must believe He exists and is exactly who He has revealed
