27 April 2021 - Stay in Faith

God’s promises are activated by our faith and our choice to believe in them. Faith is confidence in what we hope for and the assurance that the God is working, even though we cannot see it. Faith knows that no matter what the situation, in our lives that God is working on it.

We must set our mind on the truths about faith found in the Bible and our faith will grow. Below find some truths about faith.

Faith is our confidence. Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

Faith is invisible. Hebrews 11:1b (NIV) the “assurance about what we do not see.”

Faith pleases God. Hebrews 11:6 (NIV) “And without faith it is impossible to please God”

God rewards your faith. Mathew 8:13 “Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.”

Faith endures. James 1:2 (NIV) “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”

Faith is tested. Hebrews 11:17(NIV) “By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice”.

Faith without action is dead. James 2:17 (BSB) “So too, faith by itself, if it is not complemented by action, is dead.”

Faith is an active trust in God, a belief in what He says is true that results in action.

“The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.” – George Mueller

“Every day you need to get a full dose of the Word and mediate on scripture, and if you discipline yourself and remain consistent, your faith will grow and mature, and remember that God, the Word, and your faith, is a recipe for success." - Stephanie Williams
